Holding the Baby

One of Katie's favorite things to do after her brother was born was to hold Ryan. She used to say, "He's so little and so tiny." He used to look little and tiny while she was holding him. Tonight she asked to hold him and as I snapped this picture I had to stop and wonder how much longer it would be before he outgrows her. Yikes!

To put it in perspective, here is another one that was taken during Ryan's first week... what a difference 4 months makes, slow down kids you're growing too fast!

Wow, he is growing fast! What a big boy! Katie is doing a great job holding him and showing him her attention. Good job, Katie!

He is growing fast! How much does he weigh now & how tall is he? They do weights & heights on the kids at the O from time to time but they are usually not accurate. I'm suspecting Caleb's is off big time. At 4 months they have him at 15 pounds & 27 inches long. I find it hard to believe that he's 27 inches already!
Katie is a wonderful big sister!

At 4 months Ryan is 15lbs 4oz and 25 and 1/2 inches long. He was squirming all over on the scale, tried to push himself off... Caleb looks like such a little peanut in his pictures.

Wow! Ryan sure is growing! Do you have miracle grow in your breastmilk?! Katie's growing up so fast too - that's so sweet that she loves her little brother so much.

Wow...so Caleb might actually be 15 pounds & 27 inches long! That seems so "long" to me. Well, hopefully you'll get to see updated pictures of him soon. All the ones I have now are from 2 months & younger but some of my friends are returning today from a mission trip to his orphanage so I should have some new pictures by the end of this week.
